“that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and
carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in
the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth
in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head‹Christ”
ABOUT SALT MINISTRY
SALT is a ministry through Calvary Chapel Las Vegas focused on coming along side individuals struggling with same sex attraction, their families and friends, and the church body in pursuit of holiness and living Christ-like lives in all ways. We offer a safe place to those who are currently living in or coming from an LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) background, studying the Word of God together, going through Biblical-based literature on the subject of same sex attraction, praying for each other, and providing accountability. We also offer the same for families and friends who have same sex attraction, as well as the church body as a whole, seeking to educate the congregation in how to effectively minister and witness to the LGBT community, show them the love of Christ, and help begin to repair much damage that has been inflicted by the church itself. We seek to show a Christ-less community that they are not forgotten about. That they are loved, and they have a Savior who died for them. We seek to be obedient in sharing the gospel with the LGBT community, and pray that God will impact our city through the many lives that will be changed by hearing the Word of God.

Bryan is a young man who has recently moved back to Las Vegas from Montana. Beginning in middle school, Bryan began a life of sexual immorality, only to get progressively worse into high school. In his early 20s, as a career florist, he began to perform in drag, moving to Las Vegas to pursue both paths. It was there where he began his walk with Christ. From Las Vegas, Bryan moved to California, where he received his degree in Theology from Calvary Chapel Bible College. He then moved over seas to serve as a missionary to Eastern Europe until the spring of 2015. At the end of the following summer, he returned to Las Vegas, with renewed motives: to see the name of Jesus glorified in Sin City. Bryan is a passionate person with a love for people, and his desire is that everyone would know the love of Jesus, and how Christ can save them, just as He saved Bryan.
